HOMEMADE RINSE AID FOR DISHWASHER

Let's see together how you can make an excellent rinse aid able to make our dishes shine, respecting the environment and without wasting money:

  • First, get 4 simple ingredients: 190 ml of hot water , 35 g of citric acid , 10 ml of vegetable glycerin, and 10 drops of lemon or grapefruit essential oil . At this point, add the essential oil to the citric acid and dissolve the latter well in the hot water. At the end you have to insert the glycerin. You will get a rinse aid that has the same effectiveness as the one sold in large retailers, with the huge difference that this "do it yourself" is absolutely natural and harmless. To use it, it must be poured into the special tray and topped up when necessary.
  • Excellent as a rinse aid and as an anti-limescale, it is prepared with 150 g of citric acid in a 15% solution (to be bought at the supermarket) and 1 liter of distilled water . A few drops of essential oil can complete the whole. So combine all the ingredients, mix well to mix them as best as possible and then put this solution inside a spray container or pour it into the dishwasher tray.
  • You can also opt for vinegar if you need a super effective rinse aid. Vinegar should never be poured freely into the dishwasher because it cancels the alkalinity of the detergent. It must be poured into the appropriate tray. The salt level also contributes to a good washing result and makes the dishes more brilliant. Therefore, this should be checked every 2 weeks.
